"The Fairy Garden"

From February through March 4th, 2012, the Puget Sound Balloon Network, in conjunction with the NorthWest Women's Show, created "The Fairy Garden." As the central most point in the showcase, the PSBN's efforts became the "compass" as you will to the entire event. Approximately 5,000 balloons were used to create the hanging gardens during the event at Century Link Field. In addition to their sculpture display, members created twisted creations for guests to purchase, offered face painting and created four different balloon dresses as part of their exhibition.

The project was designed and led by Rachel Porter of Balloon Splendor, Mount Vernon, WA.

"The Secret Laboratory of Mad Doctor Squish"

On October 1st and 2nd, 2011, the Puget Sound Balloon Network, in conjunction with the EMP / Experience Music Project, unveiled their first group project, "The Secret Laboratory of Mad Doctor Squish." Using nearly 10,000 balloons, the members of the PSBN created a walk through exhibit as part of the "Can't Look Away" Halloween horror exhibit at the museum. Over 500 people attended the event, including Hollywood film director of "Hostel" Eli Roth.

The project was designed and led by Steven Jones of Balloon Designers, Seattle, WA.
